There is also a good chance that skiing will continue to be excellent atop local ski hills when the lifts resume operation in June.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">With a base of 100 inches, the 1964-65 winter season was indeed historic since it has not been topped for at least March numbers until this year.
