For the final day of the second weekend of this year\u2019s Coachella<\/a>, Kanye West<\/a> hosted a special edition of his \u201cSunday Service\u201d series atop \u201cThe Mountain,\u201d a hillside campsite at the festival, where he debuted a new song called \u201cWater.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joined by collaborator Ant Clemons and Ty Dolla $ign, West sang, \u201cWe are water \/ Clean us like the rain in spring \/ Take the chlorine out of conversation.\u201d It\u2019s uncertain whether the track will appear on West\u2019s forthcoming album Yandhi<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old rapper\u2019s \u201cSunday Service\u201d was announced after he reportedly dropped out of headlining Coachella because the festival refused to make him a custom dome<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event, which started at 9 a.m. PST and was available to live-stream, found West\u2019s wife Kim Kardashian West, their daughter North, Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner joining the rapper. The live stream also highlighted Chance the Rapper and Kid Cudi<\/a>. On Saturday, West also joined Cudi onstage during his Coachella set<\/a> to perform a medley of songs including two Kids See Ghosts<\/em> tracks.<\/p>\n

The nearly three-hour gospel service featured a wide range of covers and interpretations of West songs including Stevie Wonder\u2019s \u201cDo I Do,\u201d Otis Redding\u2019s \u201cTry a Little Tenderness,\u201d Kirk Franklin\u2019s \u201cBrighter Day\u201d and more. Teyana Taylor also joined the service to perform \u201cNever Would Have Made It,\u201d while a gospel choir performed snippets of \u201cUltralight Beam\u201d and \u201cUltralight Prayer\u201d alongside the hymn \u201cHow Excellent.\u201d There were even two renditions of \u201cFather Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1\u201d from Pastor T.L. Barrett and West. Later, West performed the unreleased track \u201cEverything We Need.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the past, West\u2019s \u201cSunday Service\u201d events have enlisted West collaborators like Cudi and 070 Shake, while celebrities like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have attended.<\/p>\n

To coincide with the event, special merchandise is available at the festival and on his website<\/a> with t-shirts and crewnecks ranging from $70 to $225.<\/p>\n
