During their weekend two Coachella headlining set, Tame Impala<\/a> brought out A$AP Rocky<\/a> to perform two songs. The Australian psych-rock group backed the rapper while he ran through the verses of \u201cSundress,\u201d a song that samples the group\u2019s 2011 track \u201cWhy Won\u2019t You Make Up Your Mind?\u201d<\/p>\n

Recently Tame Impala shared two new singles \u201cPatience<\/a>\u201d and \u201cBorderline<\/a>,\u201d both of which the band performed on Saturday Night Live<\/em> in March<\/a>. Following their Coachella performance, the group will head out on tour during May, June and August and is slated to headline a variety of festivals, including Shaky Knees Festival, Boston Calling, Primavera Festival, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza.<\/p>\n

While nothing has been officially announced, Tame Impala are expected to release a follow-up to their 2015 album Currents<\/em> later this year. Despite the wait, frontman Kevin Parker has juggled a range of projects the past few years, remixing Miguel\u2019s<\/a> \u201cWaves\u201d on his 2016 EP Rogue Waves<\/em> and working with Lady Gaga<\/a> on her 2016 album Joanne<\/em>. Parker was enlisted to collaborate on the record\u2019s lead single \u201cPerfect Illusion\u201d with Gaga, Mark Ronson and BloodPop.<\/a> In 2018, <\/span>Parker released a joint project with Theophilus London titled \u201cTheo Impala\u201d and appeared alongside John Mayer, backing Travis Scott<\/a> during his SNL<\/a><\/em> performance.<\/p>\n
