{"id":2443310,"date":"2019-04-23T08:23:39","date_gmt":"2019-04-23T14:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=825899"},"modified":"2019-04-23T08:23:39","modified_gmt":"2019-04-23T14:23:39","slug":"the-flaming-lips-plot-summer-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kspn\/music-news\/the-flaming-lips-plot-summer-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"The Flaming Lips Plot Summer Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/flaming-lips-summer-tour.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-flaming-lips\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-flaming-lips\" data-tag=\"the-flaming-lips\">The Flaming Lips<\/a> will hit the road this summer following the release of their 15th studio album, <em>King\u2019s Mouth: Music and Songs<\/em>, which will be released on July 19th via Warner Bros.<\/p>\n<p>The tour, which will feature the Claypool Lennon Delirium (who won\u2019t appear at the July 31st show) with support from Particle Kid, kicks off on July 23rd in Wichita, Kansas at Wave and includes several stops through the Midwest and East Coast. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flaminglips.com\/tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Tickets go on sale<\/a> on Friday, with local venue pre-sale tickets available beginning on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><em>King\u2019s Mouth<\/em>, which was initially released as a limited-edition Record Store Day offering that sold out, follows the band\u2019s 2017 album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/review-flaming-lips-make-a-miley-assisted-rock-opera-on-oczy-mlody-121860\/\"><em>Oczy Mlody<\/em><\/a>.
