Amidst the six-string theatrics, \u201cEagle Birds\u201d features an infectious chorus, with Auerbach singing, \u201cDon\u2019t nobody wanna be lonely\/Everybody oughta be loved sometime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>Let\u2019s Rock<\/em> marks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-black-keys\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-black-keys\" data-tag=\"the-black-keys\">the Black Keys<\/a>\u2019 ninth album and first in five years, following 2014\u2019s <em>Turn Blue<\/em>. The band produced the album and tracked it live at Auerbach\u2019s Eeasy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, tapping Leisa Hans and Ashley Wilcoxson to provide back-up vocals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Both Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney have kept busy with a variety of projects in the years since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/turn-blue-100348\/\"><em>Turn Blue<\/em><\/a>, but in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/the-black-keys-lets-rock-new-album-824198\/\">interview with <em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, the pair noted how easy it was to pick up where they left off. \u201cIt\u2019s this magic that happens with Pat and I,\u201d Auerbach said. \u201cIt was the same thing that happened when we were 16 and started playing, and magically, it just sounds like music. It was really awesome, having the break and then coming back and just playing with Pat again. It felt great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Black Keys will embark on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/the-black-keys-lets-rock-tour-dates-807960\/\">North American tour<\/a> this fall in support of <em>Let\u2019s<\/em> <em>Rock<\/em>, starting September 21st with a set at Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas, Nevada.
