Ed Sheeran<\/a> and Justin Bieber<\/a> have teamed up for the Sheeran\u2019s uplifting new song, \u201cI Don\u2019t Care.\u201d The pair previously worked together on Bieber\u2019s 2015 Purpose<\/em> tune, \u201cLove Yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unlike their previous kiss-off-themed collaboration and contrary to the new song\u2019s title, \u201cI Don\u2019t Care\u201d exalts in the feel-good side of supportive romantic relationships. Produced by Max Martin, Shellback and FRED, the single is Sheeran\u2019s first new music since 2017\u2019s Divide.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Cause I don\u2019t care when I\u2019m with my baby, yeah\/All the bad things disappear\/And you\u2019re making me feel I like maybe I am somebody,\u201d Sheeran sings, with Bieber\u2019s backing vocals buoying the chorus. \u201cI can deal with the bad nights when I\u2019m with my baby, yeah\/\u2019Cause I don\u2019t care\/As long as you hold me near\/You can take me anywhere\/And you\u2019re making me feel like I\u2019m loved by somebody\/I can deal with the bad nights when I\u2019m with my baby, yeah.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Sheeran began teasing the new collaboration on social media. He unveiled a photo where the both of them are in front of a green screen, captioning it \u201c10. Photoshop spoon.\u201d A few days later he revealed partial lyrics<\/a> followed by revealing the single\u2019s release date and black-and-white cover art. Bieber shared similar photos<\/a> in his Instagram feed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The song is Sheeran\u2019s first new music since 2017\u2019s Divide<\/a>,<\/em> In January, Sheeran announced a new line of acoustic guitars called \u201cSheeran by Lowden<\/a>.\u201d Meanwhile, Bieber\u2019s last album was 2015\u2019s Purpose<\/em>. Bieber recently made a surprise appearance<\/a> during Ariana Grande\u2019s Coachella set on April 21st, where he teased that a new album would be coming soon.<\/p>\n
