Machinery will be in use to complete the project, which will continue until May 22 or 23. Deadline will be open Friday and Saturday and close again Monday, when work resumes.<\/p>\n<p>Sky Mountain Park and Glassier Open Space have been closed to human use since Dec. 1 for the protection of wildlife. Pitkin County Open Space and Trails has consulted with Colorado Parks and Wildlife to make sure Thursday\u2019s openings will not adversely affect elk and other wildlife that might still be on the property.
