Brain-based wellness may be a different approach, which has not been looked at. It is a relatively new approach with its roots based in neuroscience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cWhy?\u201d is a good question to ask. What is the cause of mental health conditions?<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">A simple answer may be \u201cstress,\u201d but this oversimplifies the issues. Yes, we are all dealing with stress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">It is not only how we respond to stress but how we recover from stress. How does one cope and deal with stress?<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Often times we think that we have coping mechanisms to deal with stress. After all, those mechanisms have enabled us to get where we are today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Yet, for some, where they are today is a very difficult place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Accumulated Stress Disorder comes from chronic low-grade stress in the form of physical, mental and emotional stress. Other stressors which also contribute to this disorder include electromagnetic radiation, toxins, and infections and allergies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Often people will suppress their stress and consider that they are managing their stress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Stress suppressed over a period of time eventually leads to a state where the body cries out for help.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The brain is the control center for managing how we relate to our environment.
