The campaign encourages people to check in with their friends who might be struggling and open a line of communication.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think when people hear, \u2018Remember to take care of your mental health,\u2019 they think that everyone else is, and that is not at all accurate,\u201d Eilish says in the clip. \u201cYou know, for me I\u2019m trying to learn still to make sure that I stay OK.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t make you weak to ask for help. It doesn\u2019t. It doesn\u2019t make you weak to ask for a friend to go to a therapist. It shouldn\u2019t make you feel weak to ask anyone for help,\u201d she adds. \u201cAnd you should be able to ask anyone for help, everyone has to help someone if they need it. You know, starting that conversation, you don\u2019t have to make it super serious right away, you know, you say, \u2018How are you feeling? Like, are you OK?&#8217;\u201d she advises to get the conversation going.<\/p>\n<p>Eilish has been open about her own depression and night terrors, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HyTiK6XjBi0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">she discussed<\/a> with Apple Music Beats 1\u2019s Zane Lowe. \u201cDepression has controlled sort of like everything in my life,\u201d she told Lowe. \u201cFor my whole life, I\u2019ve kind of always been a melancholy person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her new album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/review-billie-eilish-when-we-all-fall-asleep-where-do-we-go-814754\/\"><em>When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?<\/em><\/a>, alludes to these issues.
