“Yes everybody, I will play with Blink again. That\u2019s the whole plan.”<\/em> – Tom DeLonge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tom DeLonge has spoken about his intention to return to the Blink-182<\/strong> line-up in the future – and has even begun discussing his return with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker. <\/p>\n

Speaking at length with 91X radio station<\/a> in his hometown of San Diego, Tom addressed part of the reason the fallout occurred which ultimately resulted in his departure from Blink in 2015.<\/p>\n

“For me it\u2019s funny, when I was starting all this stuff, and working with people in the government – I couldn\u2019t tell those guys,”<\/em> Tom shared. “So they didn\u2019t know, and that\u2019s one of the reasons that they got so upset I think. They were like wanting to go and record and I was just like \u2018\u2026not right now\u2026 I\u2019m doing something\u2026\u2019. This was when the whole meltdown happened, like \u2018Tom quit!\u2019”.<\/em><\/p>\n

He also shared “There\u2019s creative differences in what I do, and what my brothers in Blink do. We like different things, and we like different music – but we\u2019re still good friends and we still support each other.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“And it hit the press last week I think that – yes everybody, I will play with Blink again. That\u2019s the whole plan. I talk to Travis all the time, and I talked to Mark just the other day and we\u2019re always discussing what makes sense and when.”<\/em><\/p>\n

And while nothing is planned or publically in the works for a reunion of the original line-up, this does come only one day after Mark Hoppus shared<\/a> that he thought that a 20th anniversary show to honour Blink’s iconic live album ‘The Mark, Tom And Travis Show’ next year is “a fantastic idea”<\/em>.<\/p>\n
