Dave Grohl borrowed Panic! At The Disco’s dressing room for a quiet moment of reprive, away from his partying bandmates.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Panic! At The Disco<\/strong> frontman Brendon Urie has made an appearance on the Your Mom’s House Podcast<\/a>, and he shared a whole lot of stories from the band’s history.<\/p>\n

Most notable, is the time that he met Foo Fighters<\/strong> frontman Dave Grohl though – who crashed the Panic! At The Disco dressing room for a moment of quiet reprive from his own bandmates.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s such a badass. I met him once, and he was incredibly kind,”<\/em> Brendon shared about Dave Grohl.<\/p>\n

“We played a festival one time, and I knew Foo Fighters were headlining. I\u2019d just gone to the bus to collect something, and walked up to my dressing room and there\u2019s a guy with long hair just sitting in my chair – just in our dressing room. And I was like \u2018oh shit, I\u2019m sorry-\u2018, then I saw it was Dave Grohl and was just like \u2018uuuuh yikes\u2019.”<\/em><\/p>\n

He continued “I didn\u2019t even know what to say, I was like \u2018do you want a beer or something? I don\u2019t know what to do-\u2018 and he was like \u2018No, sorry man, I\u2019m using your room to finish this thing with our setlist, and my band is like raging in our dressing room\u2019. And I was just like \u2018oh yeah dude, that\u2019s no worries\u2019.”<\/em><\/p>\n

And from there, it was Dave and the Foo Fighters who inspired Panic! At The Disco’s pre-show ritual, as Brendon explained “Then he invited us out on to stage, and the reason that we do a double shot before our show is because of Foo Fighters. Because they have a cart roll out, and they all make a double shot and they throw it back, and then go out on stage.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The rest is history! And Panic! At The Disco still do a double shot before stage to this day. Thanks, Dave Grohl!<\/p>\n
