Tove Lo<\/a> has shared a new song \u201cGlad He\u2019s Gone,\u201d with an accompanying video. The song is the lead single from the Swedish pop star\u2019s forthcoming album, Sunshine Kitty<\/em>, scheduled for release later this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cGlad He\u2019s Gone\u201d is a kiss-off track with a twist: it\u2019s directed towards the ex of one of Tove Lo\u2019s friends. Like the message in her Blue Lips<\/em> short film<\/a>, \u201cGlad He\u2019s Gone\u201d is just as much about the power of friendship as it is about telling a mediocre man to hit the road. In the lyric video, Tove Lo dances around a painted backdrop in a jean jacket with comically oversized sleeves, and later, she sings karaoke to her own song at a party.<\/p>\n

Tove Lo previously released the video for \u201cHey You Got Drugs?\u201d,<\/a> from her 2017 album Blue Lips<\/em>. She also brought on all-star pals Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant and Alma for her \u201cBitches\u201d<\/a> music video<\/a>.<\/p>\n
