Wilco<\/a> have announced a fall North American tour, their first since 2017. The band will hit North America following a stint in Europe. They\u2019ll kick off in Toronto on October 8th, making stops at New York\u2019s Radio City Music Hall on October 12th and wrapping up with back-to-back nights at ACL\u2019s Moody Theater in Austin.<\/p>\n

Wilco\u2019s last album was 2016\u2019s Schmilco. <\/em>The band announced an extended break\u2014their first ever\u2014 following drummer Glenn Kotche\u2019s wife Miiri getting awarded a Fulbright scholarship. Tweedy has kept himself busy: he released his first memoir Let\u2019s Go (So We Can Get Back)<\/em> in November 2018, releasing his solo album Warm<\/em> that same month. He subsequently released another solo album, Warmer<\/em>, earlier this year.<\/p>\n

However, Tweedy always planned on bringing Wilco back from hiatus. \u201cI think the overall feeling I\u2019m getting from everyone, myself included, is how much energy there\u2019s going to be when we get back together,\u201d Tweedy told Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em> last year. \u201cHopefully the people that\u2019ve come to see us over the years will feel that too.\u201d
