She most recently served as opening act on Florence and the Machine\u2019s <em>High As Hope<\/em> tour.<\/p>\n<p>VanderWaal will launch her 23-date tour on August 10th in Kentucky and wrap in November at the Wonderfront Music &amp; Arts Festival in San Diego. The tour\u2019s name, Ur So Beautiful, comes from a forthcoming single that the 15-year-old will debut on June 28th.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis song is romantic but it\u2019s also empowering \u2014 it can be directed at anything or anyone,\u201d she said in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s also kind of a note to self\u2026 a song to boost your confidence.&nbsp; I always try to hide it but then when I\u2019m alone and am looking in my bathroom mirror, I know I\u2019m beautiful. I\u2019m good enough. I hope everyone feels that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUr So Beautiful\u201d will follow up her February release \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/grace-vanderwaal-new-song-stray-798987\/\">Stray<\/a>,\u201d which was her first new song in nearly a year. She has yet to confirm plans for a follow-up to her 2017 debut album&nbsp;<em>Just the Beginning<\/em>. Along with a budding music career, VanderWaal is beginning to dip her toes into acting.
