Rock singer-songwriter Jessie Jo Stark unveiled her new song \u201cLady Bird\u201d on Friday, with an up close and personal video \u2013 literally. The clip is a single-take close-up of Stark\u2019s eyes, bedazzled with glittery green eyeshadow, as she sings \u201cLady Bird\u201d in voiceover. \u201cI\u2019d love to kill you but you look like an angel still\/Street lights up our faces\/Winding down the hill,\u201d she sings of a toxic relationship over a spare piano.<\/p>\n

Jesse Jo Stark<\/a> has opened for fellow LA rock acts such as Guns \u2018N Roses, and worked with Chuck Grant (Lana del Rey\u2019s sister) on a spooky video<\/a> for her song \u201cFire of Love\u201d last year. She\u2019s also a member of indie rock act Sunflower Bean.<\/p>\n
