Following their co-headlining summer tour<\/a> with Blondie, Elvis Costello<\/a> and the Imposters will embark on their own \u201cJust Trust\u201d North American tour this fall.<\/p>\n

The trek is not dedicated to Costello\u2019s 1981 LP Trust<\/em>; instead, as the band explains, \u201cThe tour is entitled, \u2018Just Trust\u2019 in answer to the musical questions: \u2018Will they play my favorite song?,\u2019 or, \u2018Are they going to frighten the horses with a lot of excellent songs that are rarely performed?,\u2019 not to mention, \u2018Can I expect the hits of yesteryear and those of tomorrow?\u2019 To which we say: Just Trust<\/em> Elvis Costello and The Imposters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The month-long tour opens October 23rd in Charlottesville, Virginia and concludes November 26th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Check out Costello\u2019s site<\/a> for ticket information.<\/p>\n

Costello was recently awarded an O.B.E.<\/a> \u2013 the title of Officer of the Order of the British Empire \u2013 for his \u201cservices to music.\u201d \u201cTo be honest, I\u2019m pretty tickled to receive this acknowledgement for my \u2018Services To Music,\u2019 as it confirms my long held suspicion nobody really listens to the words in songs or the outcome might have been somewhat different,\u201d Costello said in a statement.<\/p>\n
