Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne denounced President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s unauthorized use of \u201cCrazy Train\u201d in a Twitter video the president posted mocking the 2020 Democratic primary candidates.<\/p>\n

The video, posted Thursday morning, opens with footage of the technical difficulties that marred Wednesday\u2019s first Democratic primary debate and pairs it with the intro to Osbourne\u2019s 1980 hit. Eventually, the video fades to black and reemerges with footage of Trump walking up to a podium.<\/p>\n

In a statement to Rolling Stone<\/em>, the Osbournes said, \u201cBased on this morning\u2019s unauthorized use of Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Crazy Train,\u2019 we are sending notice to the Trump campaign (or any other campaigns) that they are forbidden from using any of Ozzy Osbourne\u2019s music in political ads or in any political campaigns. Ozzy\u2019s music cannot be used for any means without approvals.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Osbournes also offered some alternative songs Trump could use, naming the smattering of musicians that have voiced their support for him. \u201cIn the meantime, we have a suggestion for Mr. Trump: perhaps he should reach out to some of his musician friends. Maybe Kayne West (\u2018Gold Digger\u2019), Kid Rock (\u2018I Am the Bullgod\u2019) or Ted Nugent (\u2018Strangehold\u2019) will allow use of their music.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharon Osbourne notably appeared on Season Nine of Trump\u2019s NBC reality show The Apprentice<\/em>, though she has leveled plenty of criticism at him over his political ambitions. In a 2016 appearance on Conan<\/em><\/a> following the first debate between Trump and Hillary Clinton, Osbourne said she didn\u2019t think Trump actually wanted to be president, while two years later she expressed her continued concerns in an interview<\/a> with Larry King.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s kind of fearful,\u201d she said. \u201cI know a lot of my friends are fearful. We kind of wake up every day and go, \u2018What\u2019s gonna happen now?\u2019 You don\u2019t feel secure that everything will be smooth and people are in control of what they should be in control of and running it professionally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with Ozzy Osbourne, an array of other musicians have sparred with Trump after he used their music. During the 2016 election, Queen criticized<\/a> the then-candidate for using \u201cWe Are the Champions,\u201d while R.E.M.<\/a>, Neil Young<\/a>, Everlast<\/a> and Aerosmith<\/a> also spoke out after Trump used their music without permission.<\/p>\n
