Lil Nas X<\/a> came out in a handful of Twitter messages posted Sunday, telling fans to listen closely to the lyrics on his 7<\/em><\/a> track \u201cC7osure (You Like).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of y\u2019all already know, some of y\u2019all don\u2019t care, some of y\u2019all not gone [fuck with me] no more,\u201d he wrote. \u201cBut before this month ends I want y\u2019all to listen closely to \u2018C7osure.’\u201d The tweet also included a rainbow emoji to further mark the last day of Pride Month.<\/p>\n

While Lil Nas X does not address his sexuality explicitly in the lyrics to \u201cC7osure,\u201d the song touches on themes such as coming clean, growing up and embracing one\u2019s self. \u201cEmbracing this news I behold unfolding,\u201d he sings, \u201cI know, I know, I know it don\u2019t feel like it\u2019s time\/But I look back at this moment, I\u2019ll see that I\u2019m fine.\u201d During the chorus, he sings, \u201cTrue say, I want and I need\/To let go, use my time to be free.\u201d<\/p>\n

Soon after, Lil Nas X posted a photo of the 7<\/em> EP cover art, which pictures him staring at a distant city skyline, and zoomed in on a building lit up with rainbow colors. \u201cDeadass I thought I made it obvious,\u201d he captioned it.<\/p>\n
