Blink-182<\/a> released \u201cHappy Days,\u201d the third single off their upcoming album, on the annual \u201cBlink-182 Day<\/a>,\u201d which coincides with the 182nd day of the year. While the trio\u2019s previous new LP samplings, \u201cBlame It On My Youth<\/a>\u201d and the 50-second \u201cGenerational Divide<\/a>,\u201d featured bassist Mark Hoppus and guitarist Matt Skiba sharing vocals, Hoppus takes the reins on the bittersweet \u201cHappy Days.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to feel happy days \/ All of this frustration inside of my brain \/ And I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m ready to change,\u201d Hoppus sings.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about coming from a place of frustration and angry and saying\u2026 \u2018I want to go to better times, I want to go to a better place and I\u2019m gonna leave all this nonsense behind and just find my zone,’\u201d Hoppus told Zane Lowe<\/a> of \u201cHappy Days\u201d Monday.<\/p>\n

Although Blink-182 have shared three tracks from their upcoming album \u2013 their follow-up to 2016\u2019s California<\/em>, their first LP with Skiba \u2013 the band has not yet revealed its release date or album title.<\/p>\n

Blink-182 are currently embarked on a co-headlining tour<\/a> with Lil Wayne. On the tour, Blink-182 celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic LP Enema of the State<\/em> by performing it<\/a> in its entirety; during the first show, the band dedicated the song \u201cAliens Exist\u201d to former member and noted UFO enthusiast<\/a> Tom DeLonge.<\/p>\n
