In 1990, the town of Snowmass Village decided to set rules about who could be buried in the new cemetery. According to the July article in The Aspen Times, \u201cBeing merely dearly departed won\u2019t be enough to qualify for installation at Snowmass Village\u2019s new cemetery. \u2026 Just dying to get in won\u2019t be enough. First, you\u2019re going to have to live in Snowmass \u2014 or at least nearby.
