Ed Sheeran<\/a> has embraced the rock \u2018n\u2019 roll vibe of his recent track \u201cBlow,\u201d<\/a> which features Bruno Mars<\/a> and Chris Stapleton<\/a>. The music video for the song, directed by Mars himself, showcases an all-female rock band taking over the stage at Los Angeles venue the Viper Room.<\/p>\n

Sheeran, Mars and Stapleton don\u2019t appear in the clip. Instead, former America\u2019s Next Top Model<\/em> contestant (and fellow redhead) Cherish Waters leads the girl group, performing the song on Sheeran\u2019s behalf while a crowd of fans head bangs and rocks out in the audience. Mars and Stapleton get similar female stand-ins as the performance unfolds.<\/p>\n

\u201cBlow\u201d is one of many collaborations from Sheeran\u2019s upcoming new album No. 6 Collaborations Project<\/em>, which is out July 12th. The singer has previously shared several tracks off the album, including \u201cBeautiful People\u201d<\/a> featuring Khalid, \u201cI Don\u2019t Care<\/a>\u201d featuring Justin Bieber<\/a>, which Sheeran also re-recorded for an acoustic version<\/a>, and \u201cCross Me<\/a>\u201d with Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock. The 15-song album will feature 22 guests total, with additional appearances from Eminem, 50 Cent, Cardi B and Camila Cabello.<\/p>\n

Sheeran and Mars teased each other on Instagram in advance of releasing \u201cBlow.\u201d \u201cHeyyyyyy\u2026\u2026Man\u2026\u2026U should probably just like\u2026.I don\u2019t know\u2026 stay home tonight or something,\u201d Mars recently posted. Sheeran jokingly responded that Mars should instead \u201cworry about getting that video finished for release on Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mars also offered a more genuine post<\/a> about the song, calling it a \u201cprivilege\u201d to work with Sheeran and Stapleton. \u201cYou never know what you\u2019re gonna land on when you collaborate with other musicians and somehow we landed on this tune called \u2018Blow,’\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt was so much fun making this record and getting to work with such talented guys. I really hope one day we can all get together again and perform it live.\u201d<\/p>\n
