Featuring surreal film footage of <em>The End of Civilisation<\/em> by Scottish artist Douglas Gordon, the video depicts a Cumbrian landscape accompanied by a piano on fire. \u201cIt\u2019s perfect for the song,\u201d Cole said in a statement. \u201cWhat could be worse than burning a grand piano and filming it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cole\u2019s former bandmates from Lloyd Cole and the Commotions \u2014 guitarist Neil Clark and keyboardist Blair Cowan \u2014 also contributed to <em>Glasswork<\/em>, which marks the first time they\u2019ve played together since the Commotion\u2019s final album, 1987\u2019s <em>Mainstream<\/em>.
