Lykke Li<\/a> has tapped Skrillex<\/a> and Ty Dolla $ign<\/a> to remix her ode to late-night longing, \u201cTwo Nights,\u201d which will appear on her forthcoming EP, Still Sad Still Sexy<\/em>, out July 26th via RCA Records.<\/p>\n

The original \u201cTwo Nights\u201d<\/a> \u2014 which featured Portland rapper Amin\u00e9 and appeared on Lykke Li\u2019s 2018 album So Sad So Sexy<\/em><\/a> \u2014 was a sparse electro brooder that made ample use of negative space. The new remix finds Skrillex putting his signature spin on the track, beefing up the percussion and filling in that space with synths that add plenty of texture without tampering its lonely aura. Ty Dolla $ign slides easily over this beat, crooning, \u201cI left all the lights on\/I been out here sleeping with no clothes on\/Every bit of me is stuck on you\/And when it\u2019s you and me, we split in two.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cTwo Nights\u201d remix follows the previously-released remix of \u201cSex Money Feelings Die,\u201d<\/a> featuring Lil Baby and Snowsa. Along with those two tracks, Still Sad Still Sexy<\/em> will feature alternate versions of original album tracks \u201cSo Sad So Sexy\u201d and \u201cDeep End,\u201d as well as new songs \u201cNeon\u201d and \u201cBaby Doves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with prepping Still Sad Still Sexy<\/em>, Lykke Li recently contributed to Mark Ronson\u2019s latest album, Late Night Feelings<\/em>, appearing on the title-track<\/a> and \u201c2 AM.\u201d On August 18th, Lykke Li will also host and headline her first Yola D\u00eda festival<\/a> in Los Angeles, which will feature an all-female lineup that also includes Cat Power, Sophie, Courtney Love and the Chateau Band, Megan Thee Stallion, Kelsey Lu, Empress Of and CupcakKe.<\/p>\n
