Right?!\u201d Tweedy said in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m not always positive we can be so sure. In any case, I\u2019m starting to feel like being confident in that equation isn\u2019t always the best motivation for me to be my best self \u2014 it can kind of let me off the hook a little bit when I think I should be striving to contribute more love outside of my comfortable sphere of family and friends. So\u2026I guess the song is sort of a warning to myself that YES, Love IS EVERYWHERE, but also BEWARE! I can\u2019t let that feeling absolve me of my duty to create more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Ode to Joy<\/em>, a follow-up to 2016\u2019s <em>Schmilco<\/em>, is the band\u2019s eleventh LP. It also marks a return from the band\u2019s year-hiatus, during which Tweedy released two solo albums and a memoir. An album that features the collaborative efforts of Tweedy and drummer Glenn Kotche, Tweedy has described <em>Ode to Joy<\/em> as \u201creally big, big folk songs, these monolithic, brutal structures that these delicate feelings are hung on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Starting on October 8th, the band will embark on an extensive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/wilco-expands-north-american-tour-853089\/\">fall North American tour<\/a>.
