The musician took the stage at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/jimmy-kimmel-live\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jimmy-kimmel-live\" data-tag=\"jimmy-kimmel-live\">Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a> to unveil two solo numbers, \u201cCorner Painter\u201d and \u201cKilling Me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On \u201cCorner Painter,\u201d from her recent album <em>Love Remains<\/em>, Wilkenfeld puts aside the bass in favor of an acoustic guitar and offers up a moody rock number that has tinges of both Tori Amos and Tool. For \u201cKilling Me,\u201d the musician grabs her bass for an emotional number with similarly moody tones.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/U3i_H14lU8o?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Wilkenfeld finished her album nearly four years ago and since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/meet-the-whos-opening-act-bass-sensation-tal-wilkenfeld-223508\/\">opened for The Who<\/a> on tour. She\u2019s currently performing in the U.S. and will head to Japan in August for Billboard Tokyo Live.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just have to let it be what it is, and just continue to evolve as a musician, and let things flow,\u201d Wilkenfeld recently told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> of her aims with <em>Love Remains<\/em>. \u201cI had hopes for myself as a person, and I\u2019m sure that that will filter into the music that I make. I\u2019m very focused on my spiritual, emotional, and mental growth, for instance, and that\u2019s something that I\u2019ve always been very passionate about, and likely always will be.
