Rick Ross<\/a> has a new single, \u201cGold Roses,\u201d which features Drake<\/a>. The track comes off Ross\u2019 upcoming album Port of Miami 2<\/em>, which drops August 9th via MMG\/Epic. The pair previously collaborated on Drake\u2019s \u201cMoney in the Grave\u201d<\/a> earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

On the hypnotic track, Ross raps, \u201cI was nominated, never won a Grammy\/ But I understand, they\u2019ll never understand me\/ Lot of lives lost, but I never panic\/ Lot of lines crossed, I never did a Xanny.\u201d Drake steps in with a reference to his pal Kevin Durant, spitting, \u201cAll smiles, Kevin Durant trials\/Had to blow it on the court, I must have blew a milli\u2019\/I\u2019m walkin\u2019 on all charges, that\u2019s my new Achilles.\u201d<\/p>\n

Port of Miami 2<\/em> follows Ross\u2019 2006 debut album Port of Miami<\/em>. \u201cPort of Miami<\/em> started me on this journey,\u201d Ross wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my day ones to the new ones, this album is for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ross will also release a memoir<\/a>, HURRICANES,<\/em> on September 3rd via Hanover Square Press. The book, co-written by Neil Martinez-Belkin, will detail Ross\u2019 upbringing, his rise in the industry and his time working as a drug dealer. \u201cMy story has always been deeper than rap,\u201d Ross said in a statement. \u201cWith this book I wanted to go deeper than I ever have. I wanted to tell people about the life of William Leonard Roberts.\u201d<\/p>\n
