Chance the Rapper<\/a> will promote his recently issued debut LP, The Big Day<\/em><\/a>, on a massive North American tour this fall. The 35-date trek launches Saturday September 14th in San Francisco, California and wraps November 10th in Miami, Florida.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. local time via the rapper\u2019s website<\/a>. A Citi card pre-sale runs Monday, July 29th at 1 p.m. ET through Thursday, August 1st at 10 p.m. local time.<\/span><\/p>\n

While The Big Day<\/em> marks Chance the Rapper\u2019s first full-length album, it\u2019s far from his debut studio project. The all-star record \u2014 which features contributions from John Legend, Ben Gibbard, Bon Iver\u2019s Justin Vernon, Shawn Mendes, Randy Newman and Nicki Minaj, among others \u2014 follows a handful of acclaimed mixtapes, including 2016\u2019s Grammy-winning Coloring Book<\/em><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a mid-July Tonight Show<\/em> spot, Chance revealed that he served as a \u201cnostalgia consultant\u201d<\/a> \u2014 at the request of the film\u2019s co-star Donald Glover \u2014 on the new Lion King<\/em> remake<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe contacted me while they were working on it and was like \u2018Hey, I told Jon Favreau, the director, that you were a huge fan and he wants you to come in as a nostalgia consultant to tell him what Nineties kids like about The Lion King<\/em>,’\u201d Chance told Jimmy Fallon. \u201cSo that\u2019s what I did.\u201d He added, \u201cIt did get me another gig. I did a little bit of slight vocal work on the animated film. You won\u2019t know it\u2019s me. It\u2019s very weird. I do, like, a lot of the background noises. In very small parts, like if you see an antelope grazing or something.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
