The album isn’t even out yet, but there’s already more new music on the horizon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It was mentioned in passing<\/a> at the beginning of the month that blink-182<\/strong> were considering releasing an EP after their upcoming album sees the light of day (September 20 for that new album by the way), but it’s looking like a far more certain thing now.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Alt105.7<\/a>, blink frontman Mark Hoppus has shared more details about their planned upcoming EP. When asked to confirm if there was really an EP to follow their upcoming album ‘NINE’, Mark shared “that is the plan – we have a lot of stuff that we didn\u2019t put on the record that we kind of set aside for an EP after the album comes out”.<\/em><\/p>\n

And as for the content that will appear on the EP? “It\u2019s some collaborations – we did a track with Pharrell<\/strong> and Lil Uzi [Vert]<\/strong>, and we have some other stuff in the works as well that we\u2019re planning on putting out.”<\/em><\/p>\n

But don’t hold your breath for the blink EP to be released soon – as Mark shared it hasn’t been finished yet, and likely won’t be released until next year.<\/p>\n

Mark also stated that the plan with blink moving forward it to keep putting out new music, sharing “the whole idea with blink now is to keep writing, keep recording, keep putting out music – I think that it\u2019s really exciting to live in this age where you can kind of record and release music very easily.”<\/em><\/p>\n

So what we’re hearing is we’re about to get a whole lot of new blink-182 music. NICE.<\/p>\n
