{"id":2447026,"date":"2019-07-31T21:24:06","date_gmt":"2019-08-01T03:24:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=866043"},"modified":"2019-07-31T21:24:06","modified_gmt":"2019-08-01T03:24:06","slug":"watch-brockhamptons-woozy-new-video-for-i-been-born-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kspn\/music-news\/watch-brockhamptons-woozy-new-video-for-i-been-born-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch Brockhampton\u2019s Woozy New Video for \u2018I Been Born Again\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/BrockhamptonIBeenBornAgainVideo.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/brockhampton\/\" id=\"auto-tag_brockhampton\" data-tag=\"brockhampton\">Brockhampton<\/a> have unveiled their new song and video for \u201cI Been Born Again.\u201d It\u2019s the first single the group has released since 2018\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/charts-brockhampton-number-one-iridescence-731362\/\">Number One<\/a>-charting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kevin-abstract-brockhampton-weight-iridescence-727773\/\"><em>I<\/em><em>ridescence<\/em><\/a>, and also the first new music they\u2019ve unveiled this year.<\/p>\n<p>In the Spencer Ford-directed visual, a foreboding beat sets the tone for the primarily black-and-white, grainy scenes, which include woozy 360-degree shots from the ground on a night street, a member being dragged away and a creepily whispered opening verse.<\/p>\n<p>It ends with a chanted rap that could also serve as a mantra: \u201cSend \u2019em out the door\/They ain\u2019t knockin\u2019 no more\/Send \u2019em, send \u2019em out the door\/They ain\u2019t knockin\u2019 no more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in July, the band <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/brckhmptn\/status\/1153431260422762496\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">unveiled a link<\/a> on social media, which leads to merchandise and a <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.brckhmptn.com\/products\/ginger-digital-album\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">digital album called <em>Ginger<\/em><\/a>, which does not indicate a release date.
