Rick Ross<\/a> is preparing to release Port of Miami 2<\/em>. The follow-up to 2017\u2019s Rather You Than Me<\/em><\/a> and named after his 2006 debut studio album, his new LP will be released on August 9th via MMG\/Epic.<\/p>\n

\u201cPort of Miami<\/em> started me on this journey,\u201d Ross wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my day ones to the new ones, this album is for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new 15-song set features a bevy of collaborators, including Meek Mill<\/a>, the late Nipsey Hussle<\/a>, Drake<\/a>, Swizz Beatz<\/a>, Wale<\/a>, Teyana Taylor<\/a>, Jeezy, A Boogie With Da Hoodie, Denzel Curry and others. In fact, there are only a few songs that don\u2019t list guests (\u201cTurnpike Ike,\u201d \u201cFascinated,\u201d \u201cVegas Residency\u201d). \u201cMaybach Music VI\u201d boasts an ellipsis after the title, which may indicate there may be unlisted collaborators featured.<\/p>\n

The Miami-dwelling rapper has recently unveiled album singles \u201cGold Roses<\/a>\u201d featuring Drake, \u201cBig Tyme<\/a>\u201d featuring Swizz Beatz and \u201cAct a Fool<\/a>\u201d with Wale. Ross is also set to release his memoir, Hurricanes<\/em><\/a>, on September 3rd via Hanover Square Press.<\/p>\n
