Even tho they want to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to make something uplifting that captures that feeling of being afraid to take that leap &amp; trust, being afraid of being hurt or feeling like you won\u2019t be enough for that person,\u201d she continued. \u201cBut also how it feels to have a crippling crush on someone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The singer, who is scheduled to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/lollapalooza-2019-ariana-grande-childish-gambino-tame-impala-strokes-lineup-810580\/\">headline Lollapalooza<\/a> this weekend, dropped two albums within six months of each other: August\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/review-ariana-grande-finds-serenity-and-has-some-fun-on-sweetener-713404\/\"><em>Sweetener<\/em><\/a> and February\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/ariana-grande-thank-u-next-album-review-793887\/\"><em>Thank U, Next<\/em><\/a>. \u201cBoyfriend\u201d is her second non-album single this year, following the Victoria Mon\u00e9t collaboration \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/ariana-grande-victoria-monet-monopoly-video-815940\/\">Monopoly<\/a>.\u201d There is still more music ahead for Grande: she co-executive produced the soundtrack for the forthcoming&nbsp;<em>Charlie\u2019s Angels<\/em> reboot and has teased a collaborative song with Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey.
