Red Hearse have shared \u201cEverybody Wants You,\u201d an emotional track off the group\u2019s upcoming self-titled debut album. On the pop-tinged ballad, the band, the new trio of Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff<\/a>, singer Sam Dew and producer Sounwave, lament a hard-to-reach lover.<\/p>\n

The lyrics reveal an effort to win someone over (\u201cI could take you dancing\/ I\u2019m not the romantic type\u201d) before resigning to the impossibility of the situation (\u201cBaby, what\u2019s the use?\/ Everybody wants you\u201d). It\u2019s a relatable, melancholy number with a kinship to the group\u2019s single \u201cHalf Love,\u201d another confessional-style romantic track, which they recently performed<\/a> on The Tonight Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Red Hearse<\/em> is out August 16th via RCA Records, and was written, performed and produced by Dew, Antonoff and Sounwave and  engineered by Laura Sisk. The musicians previously shared<\/a> a video for \u201cHalf Love,\u201d which was directed by Grant Singer and features St. Vincent. They\u2019ve also shared a track called \u201cHoney\u201d and another called \u201cRed Hearse\u201d to tease the upcoming album.<\/p>\n

Red Hearse is a supergroup, of sorts. Antonoff performs in Bleachers, but also written songs for and produced artists like Taylor Swift, Lorde and Lana Del Rey. Sounwave, a.k.a. as Mark Spears, contributed to St. Vincent\u2019s Masseducation<\/em>, and is Top Dawg Entertainment\u2019s in-house producer. Previously, Dew and Antonoff collaborated to co-write Taylor Swift and Zayn\u2019s \u201cI Don\u2019t Want to Live Forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
