Anyone from Manhattan? Westchester? Staten Island? The Bronx? Hartford? Anyone here from New Jersey? We\u2019re going to do a song sort of locally, vaguely, based. It\u2019s called \u2018Harlem Shuffle.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Stones released that Bob &amp; Earl cover as the lead single from their 1986 LP <em>Dirty Work<\/em>, where it hit Number Five on the Hot 100 thanks in part to an animated video that got a lot of play on MTV. But prior to Monday night they hadn\u2019t done it live since August 25th, 1990 at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium. \u201cWe haven\u2019t done it for ages,\u201d Jagger told the crowd at MetLife. \u201cBe forgiving if you can.\u201d Check out fan-shot video of the performance right here.<\/p>\n<p>The concert was the 11th stop on the band\u2019s 2019 <em>No Filter<\/em> tour. They also played MetLife Stadium last Thursday night, but this show featured five songs not performed at that gig, including \u201cYou Got Me Rocking,\u201d \u201cMonkey Man,\u201d \u201cLet It Bleed\u201d and \u201cYou Got The Silver.\u201d Every show features one song selected via an online fan vote, a methodology that has resulted in relative rarities like \u201cShe\u2019s a Rainbow,\u201d \u201cRocks Off,\u201d \u201cUnder My Thumb\u201d and \u201cBitch\u201d over the past few weeks. They\u2019ve also played <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/rolling-stones-mercy-mercy-855818\/\">Don Covay\u2019s \u201cMercy, Mercy\u201d<\/a> for the first time since 1969 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-live-reviews\/rolling-stones-chicago-comeback-concert-review-851420\/\">\u201cSad Sad Sad\u201d for the first time since 2002.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The tour \u2013 which was delayed for about a month so Mick Jagger could recover from heart surgery \u2013 resumes August 10th at Denver, Colorado\u2019s Broncos Stadium at Mile High and wraps up August 31st at Miami, Florida\u2019s Hard Rock Stadium.
