The track is the second single off their seventh album <em>Beneath the Eyrie<\/em>, out September 13th via BMG. They released the first single, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/pixies-on-graveyard-hill-beneath-the-eyrie-843789\/\">\u201cOn Graveyard Hill,\u201d<\/a> earlier this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Created by Neirin Best and Lianne Pierce of Crank! Collective, who previously made the band\u2019s video for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-SLgXBLQA2M\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cTenement Song\u201d<\/a> in 2016, the animated clip features a blonde-haired woman traveling through the mountains, kneeling over a river trying to catch a catfish for dinner \u2014 only to have the giant creature pull her into the water and drag her through another realm. \u201cWhere is my angel fallen down at the river bottom and will she get away?\u201d Black Francis sings along Paz Lenchantin\u2019s fuzzy bass line. \u201cWhere is my Blackfoot blossom is she just playing possum who lives another day?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In June, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-pixies\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-pixies\" data-tag=\"the-pixies\">the Pixies<\/a> launched a 12-episode weekly podcast called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=f4xzrhJE_tE\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cIt\u2019s a Pixies Podcast.\u201d<\/a> Hosted by music journalist Tony Fletcher \u2014 who wrote biographies on R.E.M. and the Who\u2019s late drummer Keith Moon \u2014 the podcast documents the recording process of <em>Beneath the Eyrie<\/em>. Episode seven will be released on Thursday, August 8th.<\/p>\n<p>The Pixies will kick off a world tour in support of their new LP on August 31st at the Cure\u2019s Daydream Festival in Pasadena, California. They\u2019ll hit the U.K. and Europe during the fall, wrapping up in La Coruna, Spain on October 26th.
