Deaf Havana<\/strong> have announced a UK tour this coming November, in support of War Child – a non profit organisation which helps rebuild the lives of children in war-torn countries.<\/p>\n

For every single ticket sold on the tour, Deaf Havana will be donating \u00a31 to War Child, to aid them in the essential work that they do.<\/p>\n

The upcoming tour will see Deaf Havana performing in six cities across the UK in November, with frontman James Veck-Gioldi sharing that this run will be the band’s final set of UK tour dates on their ‘Ritual’ album cycle.<\/p>\n

Speaking about how the partnership with War Child came about, James shared with Rock Sound, “I met the guys from War Child maybe a year ago. I was aware of the charity but I wasn\u2019t aware of every specific detail of it, like how in-depth they go. I went for a meeting at the offices, and they filled me in on every mission they go on – be it in the Congo or in the Middle East, everything they do is insane. There\u2019s a statistic that one in five children in the world are affected by war. 420 million children worldwide are affected by war conflict, or live in a war conflicted country. When they told me, I couldn\u2019t quite believe it – but I guess that proves my ignorance. I just found the whole thing so heartbreaking. We live in a bubble here, where we don\u2019t even consider that these things are happening right now.<\/em><\/p>\n

“For us to be working with them once again really is fantastic. There are some amazing people who work there – they really care, and they also really care about music. Music has such a great platform to help people, so to be doing a whole tour in conjunction with such an amazing charity is really humbling to me.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Tickets for all six shows on the upcoming Deaf Havana UK tour go on sale this coming Friday, August 16. Check out the full list of tour dates below:<\/p>\n
