While Swizz Beatz didn\u2019t appear in the initial video, the producer places a central role on camera in the latest visual, doling out advice to the young protagonist in the face of protests and police brutality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHercules is the symbolism of strength. It\u2019s the freedom within oneself, freedom in your mind, freedom in your spirit to be able to overcome anything,\u201d Common says at the video\u2019s onset. \u201cIt takes that fight within oneself and that peace to be able to win and to be able to be victorious, to triumph and overcome any and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Common and Swizz Beatz performed the track on <em>The Tonight Show<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5pyYBNigZcg?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The song follows Common\u2019s previously released <em>Let Love<\/em> single \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/common-love-her-j-dilla-848234\/\">HER Love<\/a>\u201d featuring Daniel Caesar. In a statement, Common said the album, due out August 30th, was inspired by his recent memoir <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/common-memoir-let-love-have-the-last-word-interview-watch-832699\/\">Let Love Have the Last Word<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt forced me to go deeper and because I opened up about so many things in the book, I was charged to go to raw, personal and spiritual places in the music.
