Why Not<\/em>. The song, \u201cOne of Us,\u201d is a meditative, emotionally-driven rock song tinged with strings and gospel backing vocals. Gallagher co-wrote the track with Andrew Wyatt, and the musician\u2019s youngest son Gene played bongos for the recording. Nick Zinner, of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/yeah-yeah-yeahs\/\" id=\"auto-tag_yeah-yeah-yeahs\" data-tag=\"yeah-yeah-yeahs\">Yeah Yeah Yeahs<\/a>, also appears on guitar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018One of Us\u2019 is about family, friendship and a sense of belonging,\u201d Gallagher said in a statement. \u201cI love the groove and the gospel outro. It reminds me of The Sweet Inspirations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Why Me? Why<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Not.<\/em>, the musician\u2019s second solo album, is out September 20th via Warner Records. Gallagher has previously released three tracks off the album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/liam-gallagher-single-once-863856\/\">\u201cOnce,\u201d<\/a> \u201cShockwave\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/liam-gallagher-new-song-the-river-852978\/\">\u201cThe River.\u201d<\/a> The album is a collaboration with Wyatt and Greg Kurstin, who both worked on Gallagher\u2019s last effort <em>As You Were<\/em>. The album is available to <a href=\"https:\/\/store.liamgallagher.com\/uk\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">pre-order<\/a> on vinyl in several formats, including a collectible D2C package that compiles a deluxe CD, a sun yellow vinyl album and a one-sided etched 12\u201d, which features three deluxe bonus tracks along with a demo recording. All include a hardcover book with two art prints and a poster.<\/p>\n<p>Gallagher\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/watch-first-trailer-liam-gallagher-as-it-was-documentary-817570\/\">documentary film&nbsp;<em>AS IT WAS<\/em><\/a>, directed by Gavin Fitzgerald and Charlie Lightening, will be released in the U.S. to coincide with the album in September.
