The band are set to headline Reading & Leeds festivals this weekend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Foo Fighters<\/strong>‘ Taylor Hawkins has revealed that the band are set to start work on their tenth studio album later this year.<\/p>\n

We caught up with the drummer backstage in Glasgow ahead of their Summer Sessions show (August 17) to find out how work is progressing on the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Concrete And Gold’:<\/p>\n

“Well, from what I’ve heard from our fearless leader Dave Grohl, he has a lot of demos that he’s worked on and I think we’ll start, once this tour is over…I think not too soon after that we’ll start the process of putting the songs together as a band.”<\/em><\/p>\n

He added “It’s a long process, we do a lot of demoing and stuff, but I think that we’ll have, I’m hoping, I think we’ll have a new record by next year. We should.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Roll on 2020!<\/p>\n

The band are set to headline Reading & Leeds festivals this coming weekend (August 23-25) alongside Twenty One Pilots<\/strong>, The 1975<\/strong> and Post Malone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
