On the eve of her anticipated seventh album<\/span> Lover<\/span><\/em>, Taylor Swift<\/a> has released the video for the title track, which she unveiled earlier this month.<\/span><\/p>\n

The clip shows Swift and her beau (played by Christian Owens<\/a>, her dance partner on the Reputation Tour) building their very own dream house together \u2013 inside a child\u2019s Christmas snowglobe! \u2013 complete with color-blocked rooms and outfits and plenty of fantasy. A giant fishbowl? She has it. A costumed New Years party? You got it. Vintage home movies<\/span> on film<\/span><\/em>? Oh, it\u2019s here. The whole house resembles a grown-up version of Swift\u2019s signature fairytale romances that percolate throughout her work, now in screaming color.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift previously released videos for the singles \u201cME!\u201d featuring Brendon Urie and \u201cYou Need to Calm Down,\u201d as well as audio for \u201cThe Archer.\u201d She announced this week that she\u2019ll be re-recording songs<\/a> from her earlier albums<\/a> made on her old label Big Machine, following the acquisition of the song\u2019s masters by Scooter Braun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s album Lover<\/em><\/a> arrives this Friday, featuring 18 tracks including one with the Dixie Chicks<\/a>, who have not released new material as a group in 13 years. She previously released the singles \u201cME!\u201d with Urie (now without the spelling line<\/a>) and \u201cYou Need to Calm Down,\u201d along with \u201cThe Archer\u201d<\/a> and the title track<\/a>. She\u2019ll be opening the MTV Video Music Awards this Monday, which also happens to be the 10th anniversary of that infamous Kanye interruption<\/a>.<\/p>\n
