Lil Nas X<\/a>, Lizzo<\/a>, the Black Keys and the Rolling Stones are among the artists whose songs landed on Barack Obama<\/a>\u2019s latest annual<\/a> summer<\/a> playlist.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith summer winding down, here\u2019s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to \u2014 some new, some old, some fast, some slow,\u201d Obama wrote of the 44-song playlist. \u201cHope you enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like Obama\u2019s previous playlists, the songs range from emerging artists (Maggie Rogers\u2019 \u201cBurning,\u201d Daniel Caesar and H.E.R.\u2019s \u201cBest Part,\u201d Elle Mai\u2019s \u201cBoo\u2019d Up, Rosalia & J. Balvin\u2019s \u201cCon Altura\u201d) to rock legends (Van Morrison\u2019s \u201cBrown Eyed Girl,\u201d Rolling Stones\u2019 \u201cHappy,\u201d Steely Dan\u2019s \u201cReelin\u2019 in the Years\u201d and the Youngbloods\u2019 \u201cGet Together\u201d).<\/p>\n

The playlist also boasts the summer\u2019s biggest single, Lil Nas X\u2019s \u201cOld Town Road (Remix)\u201d with Billy Ray Cyrus, as well as recent hits like Lizzo\u2019s \u201cJuice,\u201d Beyonce\u2019s \u201cMood 4 Eva\u201d and Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello\u2019s \u201cSenorita.\u201d<\/p>\n

Most musical genres are also spotlighted, from hip-hop (Lauryn Hill, Drake, A Tribe Called Quest, Mac Miller) to R&B (Raphael Saddiq, John Legend, the Spinners) to indie rock (Sharon Van Etten, Black Keys) reggae (Toots & The Maytals) and jazz (Charles Mingus).<\/p>\n
