Kanye West<\/a> hosted his weekly Sunday Service in Dayton, Ohio as part of Dave Chappelle<\/a>\u2019s Gem City Shine benefit<\/a> Sunday honoring the victims of the August 4th mass shooting in the city\u2019s Oregon district.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve come to love you and we\u2019ve come to share the love of Jesus Christ with you all today,\u201d West told the crowd at RiverScape Metropark during the 90-minute service (via WDTN<\/a>); the livestream is available to replay at the Sunday Service site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Sunday Service choir performed West tracks like \u201cUltralight Beam,\u201d \u201cJesus Walks\u201d and \u201cFade\u201d as well as interpolations of Elton John\u2019s \u201cI\u2019m Still Standing\u201d (transformed into the rallying cry \u201cWe\u2019re Still Standing\u201d) and Clipse\u2019s \u201cShinin\u2019,\u201d a nod to the shine of \u201cGem City.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chappelle also made an appearance during the Sunday Service, delivering a short but rousing speech.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s been tornadoes. There\u2019s been shootings. There\u2019s been Klan rallies. But we\u2019re still here. We\u2019re still strong,\u201d Chappelle told the crowd. \u201cThe best way that we can honor our fallen is by getting up better than we were before. We cannot let those people die in vain. They are heroes, they are martyrs.\u201d<\/p>\n
