Pink Floyd<\/a>\u2019s entire output following the departure of Roger Waters will be the focus of the massive new box set The Later Years<\/em>, a 16-disc collection that boasts the David Gilmour<\/a>-led band\u2019s studio LP and live albums, concert films, unreleased rarities, live performances and more.<\/p>\n

The Later Years<\/em>, out November 29th and available to pre-order<\/a> now, features three studio albums \u2013 1987\u2019s A Momentary Lapse of Reason<\/em> (presented here \u201cupdated and remixed\u201d by David Gilmour and Andy Jackson), 1994\u2019s The Division Bell<\/em> and 2014\u2019s swan song The Endless River<\/em><\/a> \u2013 and two live albums from the era \u2013 a \u201cremixed\u201d Delicate Sound of Thunder<\/em> and Pulse<\/em> \u2013 within its 5 CDs, 6 Blu-rays and 5 DVDs.<\/p>\n

The \u201cupdated\u201d A Momentary Lapse of Reason<\/em> involved restoring additional contributions from late keyboardist Richard Wright plus newly recorded drum tracks courtesy of Nick Mason in order to \u201crestore the creative balance between the three Pink Floyd members.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Later Years<\/em> also contains 13 hours of unreleased audio and audiovisual material, including the 1989 Venice and 1990 Knebworth concerts, commercially available for the first time; unseen for decades, Pink Floyd also shared the \u201cWish You Were Here\u201d from the Knebworth concert Thursday.<\/p>\n
