Sometimes a modern classic just doesn’t translate in a modern context. A shining example of that is the Bowling For Soup<\/strong> classic ‘Girl All The Bad Guys Want’ – what even is a ‘two-way’? (It’s a pager, by the way). <\/p>\n

Fortunately for us, over Reading & Leeds Festival weekend, Bowling For Soup took some time off from headlining The Pit stage to reimagine ‘Girl All The Bad Guys Want’ for 2019. And it’s actually brilliant.<\/p>\n

“8 o’clock, Monday night and I’m waitin’, to finally talk to a girl a little cooler than me,<\/em>” becomes “8 o’clock, Monday night and I’m on Tinder, I swipe right on a girl a little cooler than me”.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Her name is Nona, she’s a rocker with a nose ring, she wears a two way, but I’m not quite sure what that means,”<\/em> turns into “Her name is Ava, she has a choker and a lip kit, She likes Yungblud<\/strong> but I’m not quite sure who that is”.<\/em><\/p>\n
