Future Islands<\/a> debuted seven new tracks live during a gig at the Pearl Street Nightclub in Northampton, Massachusetts on September 1st. The songs, captured on video by a fan in the audience, are currently titled \u201cThe Painter,\u201d \u201cHit the Coast,\u201d \u201cBorn In a War,\u201d \u201cThrill,\u201d \u201cB.Ham,\u201d \u201cPlastic Beach\u201d and \u201cMoonlight.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the performance, part of the band\u2019s current Northeastern tour, the band revealed the new songs, which have a similar raucous, impassioned vibe to their previous music. Singer Samuel T. Herring gave the songs his usual all, with \u201cMoonlight\u201d taking on a more low-key, emotional tone.<\/p>\n
