The punk band played the small gig in honor of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/green-day-weezer-fall-out-boy-2020-hella-mega-tour-882156\/\"><em>Hella Mega<\/em> stadium tour<\/a>, which kicks off in 2020 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/fall-out-boy\/\" id=\"auto-tag_fall-out-boy\" data-tag=\"fall-out-boy\">Fall Out Boy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/weezer\/\" id=\"auto-tag_weezer\" data-tag=\"weezer\">Weezer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the clip, the musicians have fun with the raucous, upbeat new track, which will appear on the band\u2019s new album <em>Father of All\u2026,<\/em> due out February 7th. Singer Billie Joe Armstrong gets the crowd singing along to the catchy chorus, which the fans apparently already know.<\/p>\n<p>Armstrong told Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 show that the new album is only 26 minutes long because he \u201chates long songs.\u201d \u201cRock and roll sometimes has become so tame because people are, a lot of rock acts are always trying to look for the feel-good song of the year or something, everything gets really watered down and wimpy, and I think rock music should make you feel bad,\u201d Armstrong noted. \u201cWe live in just the time of complete and total chaos- or else we\u2019ve always been, but now it\u2019s turned up to Trump. So [the new album] is just trying to reflect what\u2019s going on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fall Out Boy and Weezer also announced new albums and singles on Tuesday. Weezer\u2019s new song \u201cThe End of the Game\u201d comes from their forthcoming LP&nbsp;<em>Van Weezer,<\/em> which is slated to arrive in May 2020, while Fall Out Boy\u2019s new single \u201cDear Future (Hands Up)\u201d features Wyclef Jean and will appear on compilation album&nbsp;<em>Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die \u2013 Volume Two.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Hella Mega<\/em> stadium tour will kick off June 13th, 2020 in Paris, France and hit North America the following month.
