In a statement upon issuing the track, Pop admitted he wasn\u2019t sure what was happening in the lyrics. \u201cI don\u2019t know what she\u2019s up to exactly, but the tables seem to be turning, and she\u2019s taking over,\u201d he said. \u201cWell, why not? I\u2019ll try anything once. I\u2019ve never had more fun singing a lyric. Faith\u2019s reading is so loaded, and Leron\u2019s production and trumpet along with the band swings like crazy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The album also features the singles <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/hear-iggy-pops-synth-laden-new-song-sonali-878378\/\">\u201cSonali\u201d<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/iggy-pop-new-album-free-860520\/\">\u201cFree,\u201d<\/a> along with album track \u201cWe Are the People,\u201d which includes lyrics authored by Lou Reed in 1970 but published posthumously in 2018.
