The album, recorded at Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood, features the actor backed by his longtime collaborators The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra and includes collaborations with Fiona Apple, Anna Calvi, Inara George, Gina Saputo and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/sharon-van-etten\/\" id=\"auto-tag_sharon-van-etten\" data-tag=\"sharon-van-etten\">Sharon Van Etten<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Van Etten appears on the album\u2019s first single, a jazzy version of Irving Berlin\u2019s \u201cLet\u2019s Face The Music And Dance,\u201d which was produced by Bryan Cook. Goldblum plays piano on the 1936 classic track as Van Etten takes on the sultry vocals. While Goldblum typically plays the piano on his musical endeavors, he will sing on one track on the upcoming album, \u201cLittle Man, You\u2019ve Had A Busy Day.\u201d Other covers on the album include Frank Sinatra\u2019s 1954 track<br \/>\u201cDon\u2019t Worry \u2018Bout Me\u201d (which features Apple) and Sonny &amp; Cher\u2019s \u201cThe Beat Goes On.\u201d The album will also showcase a few instrumental jazz numbers like Herbie Hancock\u2019s \u201cDriftin\u2019.\u201d The full tracklisting has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Goldblum\u2019s first album, <em>The Capitol Studios Sessions<\/em>, dropped last year. He regularly performs with Mildred Snitzer Orchestra at Los Angeles venue Rockwell Table &amp; Stage. The actor, who recently announced that he would be appearing in a new series, <em>The World According to Jeff Goldblum<\/em>, on Disney+, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/jeff-goldblum-jazz-album-mildred-snitzer-orchestra-interview-759895\/\">told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> last year that becoming a musician was a \u201ccrazy dream\u201d for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoing acting or certainly music was kind of just a wild-hearted, romantic adventure for me where I was trying to express myself more than impress myself upon anybody,\u201d Goldblum said. \u201cNow it\u2019s gotten more that way. If you love something, it doesn\u2019t really matter what people think as much because you\u2019re not really relying on that, but I\u2019m gratified to see when people experience the band or come up to me after [the show]. It\u2019s very happy-making for me.
