T.I. and Teyana Taylor<\/a> exact revenge upon evildoers in their violent, yet poignant, dual video for \u201cYou (Be There).\u201d The video features the final two songs from T.I.\u2019s latest album, Dime Trap<\/em><\/a>, \u201cYou,\u201d which features Taylor, and \u201cBe There,\u201d which features London Jae.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cYou\u201d section opens with T.I. and Taylor reclining on a bed and watching a TV news report about a \u201crapist on the run.\u201d T.I. ruminates, \u201cThere\u2019s some people on the Earth that just don\u2019t need to be here \u2026 Some people just deserve to die.\u201d But instead of marinating in their misery, the musicians decide to take action \u2014 and the results are bloody.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, they strut into a church and shoot a pastor accused of child molestation. <\/span>Later, after checking into a motel room, they hear a sexual assault happening next door and decide to intervene, executing the police officer responsible for the act. Taylor, however, is shot in the chaos and dies on the scene, leaving a distraught T.I. to carry on by himself.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cBe There\u201d section contrasts that brutality with flashbacks to a young couple\u2019s blossoming romance. But the clip \u2014 written by T.I. and directed by Taylor \u2014 ends with a somber flash to reality: \u201c3,600 minors are sold into sex slavery every year in the state of Georgia,\u201d a caption reads. \u201cOne out of every 10 sexual abuse survivors will never tell.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

T.I. released Dime Trap<\/em>, his 10th studio album, last year. The rapper, who recently slammed boxer Floyd Mayweather in the diss track \u201cFuck Nigga,\u201d<\/a> teamed with Chance the Rapper and Cardi B for the upcoming Netflix series Rhythm + Flow<\/em><\/a>, which premieres October 9th.<\/span><\/p>\n
