Aspen\u2019s newest social club and private workspace, Here House, recently opened downtown at 614 E. Cooper Ave. Adjacent to Local Coffee House and under the same ownership of mother-daughter duo Candice Olson and Michaela Carpenter, Here House is presented as \u201ca stylish, inter-generational member space to meet, work, play, and unwind at the base of Aspen Mountain,\u201d according to its website.<\/p>\n

Olson and Carpenter created the membership-based club as a way to bring \u201ctalented creators and contributors from all walks of life\u201d and engage in a welcoming atmosphere while also providing a quiet space to work.<\/p>\n

On Aug. 30, charter members, friends and partners involved in the project gathered for an opening reception, enjoying hors d\u2019oeuvres prepared by Chef Tyson Harding and drinks served from the club\u2019s honor bar. Guests mingled in the courtyard in front of Here House, in the living area and surrounding the conference table in the boardroom.<\/p>\n

Seated by the fireplace, Olson welcomed all and spoke of the vision to create Here House and the programming that will be a part of the membership with benefits such as a members\u2019 core library, day lockers and town bikes available for use, concierge services, tech support with noise-cancelling headphones, field trips and member outings.<\/p>\n
