Submissions are now being accepted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cWe could not be prouder of our just-wrapped inaugural Solo Flights festival,\u201d Theatre Aspen producing director Jed Bernstein said in the announcement. \u201cAudiences enthusiastically joined us to explore four new projects in their earliest phases of development. We look forward to what our second flight brings next fall. Solo Flights, we\u2019re excited to say, has officially taken off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The inaugural Solo Flights festival <a id=\"N0x26808e0N0x2833700:N0x26808e0N0x25b0618\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aspentimes.com\/entertainment\/review-theatre-aspens-inaugural-solo-flights-offered-front-row-seats-to-new-play-development\/\">was held Sept. 18 to 21 at the Hurst<\/a>. It featured four presentations, including three-time Emmy Award, two-time Golden Globe Award, and Grammy Award winner Beau Bridges in John Wilder\u2019s \u201cCoach: An Evening with John Wooden,\u201d directed by Joe Calarco. Kate Baldwin starred in Jenny Giering and Sean Barry\u2019s one-woman musical \u201cWhat We Leave Behind\u201d; television star Joy Nash led Courtney Baron\u2019s \u201cWhen It\u2019s You\u201d; and Daniel Gerroll starred in Jeffrey Hatcher\u2019s \u201cDr. Glas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Submission are due by Feb. 1.
